I read that review a few days ago, it is quite a fun read - probably more entertaining than the book itself would be.

I was amused by John Ringo posting a reply to say he agreed with most of the review.

So I sent the link to this review to my ex (because his reading tastes may not go to the depths of John Ringo, but they are on a similar path). He forwarded it to a friend (and cc'd me) asking if John Ringo was, in fact, the guy that their old boss's sister had dated. Yes, as a matter of fact, it is the same John Ringo. His response was that their boss told him waaay too much about the relationship, so "OH NO, JOHN RINGO, NO!" could just as easily have been "OH NO, [ex boss], NO!".

Disturbingly small world, eh?
