Just got ringing compliments from both the EIC and the executive editor. 1) I found a simply stunning array of photography for my section -- the best crop we've ever had and 2) my delivery/sell of each photo and the science behind it is superb. (Jake likened it to me acting as a sommelier going down the high-end wine list.)

Ah, I wonder what kind of disaster will ruin my good mood? Anyone wish to speculate?

Well, the impending Cylon surprise attack (mentioned elsewhere :P) is the first thing that comes to mind.

I'm sure it'll be a while before that happens though, so instead think on the good things and YAY! Go You! :)

just wittering on about my job (I'm a magazine editor), but it will be fabulous to meet you in SaraTOGA!

I'll check around, but there should be moderately decent veggie options in town -- as a vacation destination for NYers, it kinda has to be. :)
