Sheep Shaggers comes thru

Local Aussie joint Sheep Station (we call it "sheep shaggers" because that's really the only name it needs) had the cricket on. we showed up in the 12th over (Oz) or so, sat down with beers, and got pissed and watched a match we only 1/2 understood.

I felt so smart when a Yank even less schooled in cricket than I sat down next to me, and I could explain some of things going on. Heh. Silly n00b!!

Now I need a nap.

Yeah, and it's even in my nabe -- they serve pie floaters, too. :)

I recently got to play a version of cricket w/ some Indian ex-pats.

After I got used to that damn wicket, I could hit as well as any of them fellers.
