Tha's right, Penguin Lovers and Haters and Playas. Now I'm Senior Associate Editor, and they be givin' me MO MONEY.

Seriously, I've been feeling a bit down about my career, being marooned for years in the same position and unsure I was actually doing a good job. And so getting this promotion really helps the ol' self-esteem and also reinforces the idea that, yes, I did make an OK career move when I left research for publishing.

I'd drink myself stupid on champagne tonight, but I think I've had enough barfing for one week. :p

(and I can't but think that my killer David Lee Roth act had a large part in this development. Van Halen FTW!!)

Hey, no prob, plus it's nice that someone who is pretty much a stranger is concerned with the progress of my writing. You will be on my ARC list when I am mildly famous to fanboys and geeks worldwide.

BTW I will be posting a full blog tomorrow! I think. Doing the novel in 90 thing with Elizabeth Moon and finding....oh, wait til tomorrow!
