They are expensive. Not ludicrously expensive, but still. Expensive.
If I'm lucky, I'll try them on and hate them.

Okay, I'm an enabler. I love the look of them. IF they fit well and aren't going to break the bank, I'd consider them.

My one concern is the heel looks high, and I've never seen you wear high heels like that.

It's very tough for me to find boots, too. I've got small ankles and somewhat-wide calves. My optimal boot is a full-lace model, but I've yet to find a pair that equals the awesomeness of the ones I've nearly worn out.

What I was going to say was that fit-comfy isn't the same as wearing-comfy. Especially if you're walking around in them for any distance, there's just no way of really testing that in a store.

But then ultimately I'm just trying to stem the tide, as I'd probably buy them in a heartbeat. Or in a heartbeat on payday, as bank account dictates. :p

There is a bit of a platform in front, but they're still pretty high as far as heels go (especially for me).
