A zoologist finds himself the object of desire of a kakapo, a critically endangered New Zealand parrot, to the great amusement of Stephen Fry.

"Do you want to have a go?"
"I think I'll pass, actually..."

I enjoyed this video.

The zoologist did not appear to be very happy.
However it's certainly a plus if the person who laughs at your misfortune is an awesome comedian.

That's what happens when the parrot forgets about the foreplay. ;-)

You have to say, the parrot has a certain style.

Indeed. I think it should be an official BwB Mating Dance.

I also think you should grow sideburns like the parrot's. You'll look smashing!

I think I completely lost it at "Look, he's so happy!" BAHAHAHAHA.

He really DID look happy. XD

Mounting from behind and throwing hay makers to the face... I think this parrot has been to prison.

The parrot has a great sense of rhythm, I must say. Could use a bit of variation in tempo, but all together not a bad effort. Not at all!

A good man is simply getting harder and harder to find. There are now only 125 of them left in the world.

Hmm, mistaking a zoologist for an attractive female parrot...maybe this is why they are endangered? :p

:p

Alas, the blame goes to domestic and feral cats, dogs and feral mustelids. :(

"Feral mustalids"? Is that another way of saying New Zealanders?

I'm swaying between thinking "ouch" and laughing. Parrots are the shit.

Indeed, they are. Even when they're trying to shag your ears.

Awesome. My absolute favourite thing was the sneaky-sneaky stalking action which preceded the pounce. As if it was being oh-so-subtle and nobody had noticed it's approach.

Clearly this parrot has been to a World Con.
