Sep. 8th, 2008 08:23 amAh, so it is going to be one of those days, where I feel like stabbing 40 people at random.
This makes no sense, though, because I had a great weekend, discounting Saturday's n00b-hangover. Friday was a leisurely dinner Chez X with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
misunderstruck and yagathai . Saturday was n00bover, then hanging out with misunderstruck , yagathai , jonsiron , suzgrad , two other non-LJ friends T and M, and, totally randomly, one of the bartenders/beer slingers at our new favorite bar. She was just wandering Brooklyn and happened in on us, and joined the festivities. Ended up at a local karaoke night (it occasionally hosts such awesome concepts as Heavy Metal Pirate Karaoke). One of the organizers is in an Iron Maiden tribute band. He also apparently loves show tunes, because we witnessed him singing something from Miss Saigon. Sunday we did nothing until that gin class, which was organized by LeNell Smothers, owner of LeNell's, one of the more interesting liquor stores in the greater NYC area. As mentioned, I did not drink any of the 20 tested liquors (except the last one), but I still got a slight buzz and ended up sweating juniper for the rest of the evening.
So, really, unless the gin I didn't drink is still working its surly magic on me, it really makes no sense for me to be crabby.
