the Happy Birthday Hangover

Happy Birthday Doug (I see that others beat me to the LJ felicitations). Went out last night to meet some of our NYC friends, and also some newly arrived BwB fools (Sophelia, mountaingoat, Dunhallym). Was only going to stay out for 1 drink, but then a Limecat showed up and scotched that plan of good behavior. Ended up at home at 2am after at least 4 drinks (and considering my current abstemious ways, that's a fair fucking bit) and now my head is full of warblers, pecking at the inside of my skull.

Also, a pox on Ruy, who bought for Doug the gift I was going to give him: The Spaced DVDs.
