Had a weekend of going to bed at 22h and getting up at 8h. Got inspired and cleaned out/reorganized my spice cabinet. Now, most Americans would scoff at that -- how hard is it to organize your spices? I dunno -- how hard can it be? That's just spices, not oils or condiments or random asian seaweed seasonings or vinegars or ghee or dried shrimp paste or tamarind paste or harissa or ajvar. And, as you can see, I gotta get off my ass and make more garam masala and chaat masala.
But Doug did make a punishing (and punishingly good) vindaloo this weekend. And we enjoyed the 20C unseasonal weather. And now we're finishing the weekend with GRIDIRON.
