It's -7C outside (-16C with windchill).
I so do not want to go outside.

I wouldn't want to go either. I hate being cold so much. Hope you find a way to keep warm!

I wore about 75 layers, tights, insulated boots, the works. The wind had died down by the time I left, so it wasn't so bad. Still...ugh. How many more months of this left?

What she said. It's +7C here which at this time of year is three degrees to warm, but...

Warmer than Boston or Chicago.

Which is a great reason why I don't live in either of those places and likely never will.

At least you haven't had snow on the ground since two weeks before Thanksgiving. It's so cold almost all the time now that I thought I saw a polar bear the other day.

With the arctic ice melting, expect to see them around Lansing by 2015 or so.

I almost turned the heat on last night. would have too, but for the inevitable smell of frying the dust that accumulated in the vents all year.

I still leave the porch doors open during the day. :-)

You sure are not going to want to move here either.

You know the day is starting off fundamentally wrong when the temperature that water freezes at would be considered balmy compared to what it currently is.
