Mongolian BBQ drought

To my very great chagrin and disappointment, there does not seem to be a single Mongolian BBQ joint in the 5 boroughs of NYC. DOOOM.

(of course, now that I can't have it, it's the only thing that I want to eat.)

Mmm. Shabu-shabu. I haven't had that since I lived in Japan. I wants it, my precious. I needs it.

Alas, no. Shabu-shabu, while incredibly tasty, it just not gonna satisfy my cravings for meat and vegetables fried on a giant convex griddle. *cries*
