The House Has Been Warmed
Aug. 13th, 2007 11:00 amSeems that this weekend was PAR-TAY all across the globe (WoWfest in Glasgow, Edinburgh Drunk-a-rama, Beerfest in Blighty) and it was no different in NYC.
Yes. We made many people drunk on Saturday. Obligatory first drink (which we shoved into your hands after you walked through the door) was a Park Place. Second drink was the Gentleman Bastard #1 (and no, even if we don't win the contest, we're not changing the name). Third was the gin-gin mule. After that, it was a free-for-all.
We even met another GRRM fan randomly. Friend of a friend noticed the books in the bookshelf and asked about them. So I pointed out to him the Hall of Zak.
Sadly, even though I spread my 4 cocktails out over 7 hours, I still had a hangover. I am pathetic.
