I have 75 downloads on emusic and I cannot figure out what the hell I want to listen to.

ETA: I just blew 37 of them on a very large d'n'b compilation. I think the rest will go to Behemoth and Godflesh and possibly Arch Enemy.

I haven't listened to Arch Enemy in ages..

Personally, I think it's bad when you go to a rock club and the only thing one recognizes is Rammstein... Downloading music sounds like a good plan

Arch Enemy's last two albums were great if you haven't got them already - Doomsday Machine and Rise of the Tyrant. You could also download some Carcass if you're looking for something similar, although I realise I'm probably preaching to the converted here :)

good call on the Carcass! They are playing in September, and I am very tempted to go. I may have to swap Godflesh for Carcass, then (if eMusic have it, anyhoo).

I refuse to go quietly into the night...I'll be "that person" at the shows, to be sure. (there are really no clubs in NYC)

I would recommend AE's Anthems of Rebellion too, I think it is closer to Doomsday Machine in sound, and personally both those are my favorite AE albums.

And Behemoth = YES.

I'll check 'em all out, see what fits the mood.

You have inspired me to listen to more Behemoth, I must admit.
