A Pox on Pox

Bah. Ten days on the West Coast have left my complexion in a tizzy. I had to switch up face soaps to something ultra ultra mild because my skin got so dry and irritated (it helped, a lot), but now I'm in payback time. My skin is simultaneously oily, flaky, on the verge of a full-scale break-out (but mercifully that hasn't happened yet), and I've got a zit on my chin. OK, it's a small one, but as it emerged yesterday at work, I swear I could hear it laughing at me. Fucker.

If I had more of a sense of humor about these things, I'd change my avatar to Pizza the Hut. Instead, I give you ASS.

This is simply the last remaining bits of the Year of ASS toxins being purged from your body?

I went to a dermatologist and got a prescription for antibiotics to clear up my skin. Because I don't think I should have to put up with acne AND wrinkles. That just isn't fair.

I can so relate, but for me it's acne and gray hair. Totally unfair!

Oh, I don't have any grey hair. I have "light ash blonde" hair. It says so right on the box.

so true. I've been a little over stressed and eating poorly and hormones and all conspired to give me a nasty break out the likes of which I hadn't seen since I was 16...and the greys multipled by 20 or so. Why can't it be jsut grey hair...that is so much easier to take care of.

Good Luck Martha and everyone else *hugs*
